LISA M. PERRY

In 2004 Lisa M. Perry co-founded Sloane Road Productions with Jessie Hutcheson.  Writing and directing credits include: ON THE CLIFFS (Hamptons, Santa Barbara, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Savannah Film Festivals, and “Best Short Comedy” at the Ohio Independent Film Festival), YELLOWBELLY, THE TEST (Woodstock, Santa Barbara, New Orleans, Ft. Lauderdale, Williamstown and Nashville Film Festivals), SEARCH (2009 Tribeca Film Festival), and PENGUINS CAN”T FLY, currently in post production. Before directing, Perry worked in production with A&E’s NERO WOLF starring Timothy Hutton, IFC’s  IN THE COMPANY OF WOMEN (Sundance premiere, 2004), and various shows with Sesame Street. Perry is a member of New York Women in Film and Television, IFP, and CinewomenNY. She studied acting with the Atlantic Theater Company and Steppenwolf, received her BA from Skidmore College, and is currently a MFA candidate for film at Columbia University in New York City.

 

JESSIE HUTCHESON

In 2004, Jessie Hutcheson co-founded Sloane Road Productions with Lisa M. Perry. Writing and producing credits include: ON THE CLIFFS (Hamptons, Santa Barbara, Atlanta, New Orleans, and Savannah Film Festivals, and “Best Short Comedy” at the Ohio Independent Film Festival), YELLOWBELLY, and THE TEST (Woodstock, Santa Barbara, New Orleans, Ft. Lauderdale, Williamstown and Nashville Film Festivals). As a producer, Hutcheson co-produced “Confederacy Theory,” a documentary about the confederate battle flag (premiere episode of the Independent Lens series on PBS; best documentary at the Atlanta Film and Video Festival). As an actor, she has appeared most recently in “Happy,” (dir. Like Stettner, prod. Moxie Pictures; second place winner, Esquire Magazine’s Celulloid Style Film Competition), and at the Atlantic Theater in “The 24 Hour Plays.” Hutcheson is a member of New York Women in Film and Television, IFP, and CinewomenNY. She studied with the Atlantic Theater Company and received her BA from Harvard.
